Pictures of the altered

Familiar pose for the flame and thunder show, the car will be slow at the 60 foot timers due to them being triggered by the rear wheels. For racing the car will be set up for not so much front end lift.

Same shot from the rear, not a bad crowd for november (cold)

Note the wing removed in this picture and the next, it was at this meeting (flame and thunder 2007) that the car recorded its best ET to date 8.001 seconds and 169.5 MPH. Not bad for petrol and a single 4 barrel carb !

Despite the wing being removed the handling was not too bad but the car did not go any faster.

Unfortunately after the next meeting (Stunt Show 2008) I found a small crack in the bore of the iron block. Despite this the car still ran in excess of 150 mph the temperature was several degrees below 0°C. (32°F) also not helped that my visor was so badly misted up that I had to open it.. Oh it was dark too !!

The engine has now been replaced with a 540ci Keith Black Oldsmobile. This will remove quite a bit of weight from the car and with the fitment of mechanical fuel injection and Methonal as fuel we hope to run a bit quicker and faster in 2010.

Due to various things getting in the way I only managed to get the car out for the final meeting of 2010 and had a few set up issues that meant the season ended up in a unsatisfactory way.
